Description: There is now a roped walk, leading to the monument at the very edge of Portland. This was used a a great lead in to the picture. Description: Taken during the heavy snow fall of December 2010, this old hut stands along the sluice from knepp Castle Lake. Under the ice and snow, a new Eel trap is in place ready for the draining of the lake at some point. It was unusual to see many Oak trees still had leaves on this far in to Winter.]]>

This unusally low tide showed some chalky features you dont normally see and that conincided with a spectactular sunset. Description: Russell Burn is a fabulous and typically Scottish wild landscape. The location itself is well out in the sticks on the way to a small crofting village called Applecross in the Torridon region of North West Scotland. Description: On arrival at Devils Dyke, the light was changing very quickly with some fantastic beams of light eminating from the sky. only once in a while do such beautiful examples of these crepuscular rays come so close you could actually reach them! As the light was fleeting and moving at such a pace, i knew that a panoramic image of three exposures had to be taken as quick as possible. My normal approach of belending numerous exposure was not an option, so i opted for the traditional ND grad filters. when home and processing them, i still needed to double process the file before stitching this panoramic, a lot of work, but well woth the effort!]]>

Description: High above the Sussex Weald, the South Downs National Park has a wealh of beautiful landscapes. Here we can see the last golden light touching down on Chanctonbury Hill in the far distance. The Downs deflect much of the snow, either pushing it along the coast or helping protect the foothills from large amounts of snow. There is barely two inches on the ground, yet towards Horhsam inland there was 3-4 inches!]]>

Description: High above the Sussex Weald, the South Downs National Park has a wealh of beautiful landscapes. Here we can see the last golden light touching down on Chanctonbury Hill in the far distance. The Downs deflect much of the snow, either pushing it along the coast or helping protect the foothills from large amounts of snow. There is barely two inches on the ground, yet towards Horhsam inland there was 3-4 inches!]]>

Description: The Bluebells this year at Angmering Park, where not as carpeted as some years, with small breaks in their covering. After last years succesfull attempt at capturing images of Bluebells, i decided a more creative approach was needed. By using a long shutter speed, allowed me to let the scene expose the background static image, then as the exposure came to an end i zoomed the lens a short distnace creating a stiking effect]]>
